5G Innovation for the Mobile Data Pyramid

The global pandemic slowdown has become a mobile data accelerator, permanently changing the way we work and play. The beginning of 5G could not have come at a better time with the increased need for scalable networks that deliver high data rate mobility, while supporting mobile data creation as equally as consumption. This presents more complex RF challenges stemming from advanced and numerous CA combinations alongside our new normal of dual uplink, spectrum allocations and the growing push for mobile mmW. Qorvo’s Ben Thomas walks us through the Mobile Data Pyramid and the location, frequency and bandwidth framework that creates opportunities for RF innovation.
