At Scantinel, we believe that future long range, reliable LiDAR sensors will be based on coherent (FMCW) ranging and multibeam solid-state scanning. Integrated silicon photonics, combined with advanced optics in our Optical Enhanced Array (OEA™) scanning technology is the key enabler to turn this complex coherent ranging technology into compact and cost-efficient modules for high volumes. Scantinel is developing leading edge photonic components and will demonstrate full performance FMCW LiDAR with solid state scanning by mid-2021
Davide Canavesi is Business Development Manager at Scantinel. He has more than 10 years of experience in the semiconductor industry where he worked on MEMS micromirrors and power management integrated circuits at STMicroelectronics and Dialog Semiconductor. He holds a B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering, a M.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Munich Business School.
